KP Baney - Chairman and Managing Director
After passing out from Poona Engineering College in 1960, Mr. Baney served in Public Health Department upto 1962., when he joined the family business – Devi Constructions.

He is closely associated with Builders' Association of India, and has served as Chairman of Builders' Association of India, Pune Centre. He was the Chairman of the Golden Jubilee Celebration and Chairman of XIV All India Builders Convention held in December 1991 at Pune.

He was President of Royal Connaught Boat Club, Pune, during the year 1990-91. He is a member of the Poona Club, Turf Club and Architect Engineers and Surveyors Association (AESA). He is a Founder Member of the Pune Construction Engineering Research Foundation, an Organisation engaged in Research connected with the Construction Field, and served as Vice President for over 6 years.

He is a pioneer in bringing out a Maintenance Manual and Maintenance Kit, for residential house owners. He was Chairman of the Organising Committee of Constro `94.

He has served as President of Promoters & Builders Association of Pune (PBAP) from 1996 to 1999. He also served as Chairman of Federation of Promoters and Builders Associations of Maharashtra (FPBAM), for two years.

He was presented with the National Excellence Award in January 1997 in New Delhi by Mr. G.V.G. Krishnamurthy, Election Commissioner of India. He was felicitated by Vishwa Jagriti Mission for his contribution in the field of Construction Industries.

At present he is the Chairman of the “Housing & Real Estate Committee” of the All India Body of BAI. He also serves as the Chairman of the “Grievance Committee” of PBAP. He is on the Advisory Committee of Sri Guru Kripa Seva Ashram, a home for the aged. He is Chief Trustee of Dev Prabh u Charitable Trust, rendering medical aid to needy.

Ravi Mahbubani - Director
Ravi did his schooling from Shivaji Military School, Pune. After passing out from Ferguson college in 1977 with a B.Sc. degree in Physics, Ravi joined his family business as Director with Devi Construction Co. Pvt. Ltd.

Ravi treats work and play with serious regard. Apart from golf and painting - his favorite hobby is gliding. Ravi loves to fly and has achieved several milestones in Gliding; and has done some record flying in gliders in Pune and abroad. He has even piloted a World War-I biplane over German skies.

On 26th May 2004, he soared for 7 hours 55 minutes, narrowly missing the National Record of 8 hours 14 minutes by just 19 minutes set by Mr. P. K. Bannerjee in the Year 1959. Presently he is President of the Poona Gliding Society (PGS).

He has been featured in many news ar ticles and recently even in the Limca Book of Records for his gliding achievements. He has imported his own Czech-made L-33 Solo Sailplane and loves to fly it…whenever time and winds permit!
